Students must also purchase books for the classes they are taking. Books can range anywhere from $20-$60 per class. Books MUST be paid in full by the first night of class or they will not be sold to students.

A payment plan is available for Credit/Audit students wishing to make partial payments on their tuition. The payment plan spans three payments throughout the semester. Students will be billed a $10 administrative fee for this plan.
Registration Fee
All students must initially fill out a WSM application. Individuals will pay a one-time application fee of $25.00. The application and fee will go to ORU where a student record will be created and maintained for transcript purposes.
Financial Aid/Scholarships
Because federal and state financial aid is not available for the ORU Bible Institute program, the Westmoreland School of Ministry desires to keep tuition rates low. Scholarships offered by WSM are limited. However, it is the desire of WSM to develop additional scholarships for those who desire to train for ministry, but have a limited income. To apply for a scholarship, a student is required to fill out a scholarship application and demonstrate financial need. All scholarships except the book scholarship will be awarded on an annual basis for two semesters provided the student maintains at least a "B" in all classes. A student must use their scholarship for two consecutive terms. Listed below are some of the scholarships currently offered by WSM:
Eva Derry Memorial Scholarship-This scholarship is awarded to a non-traditional student pursuing a certificate in biblical studies or practical ministry. Full tuition for one three credit course.

Biblical Studies Scholarship-This scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing a certificate in the biblical studies track. $100 tuition for one three credit course.

Practical Ministry Scholarship-This scholarship is offered to a student pursuing a certificate in the practical ministry track. $100 tuition for one three credit course.

Book Scholarship-This scholarship is available on a needs basis to any student taking a course. Scholarship amount is up to $50.
